The Bridal Fashion Week is currently underway at New York City and like every year, it’s time to hunt for the most glamorous, gorgeous bridal gowns that are being displayed. Bug names such asMonique Lhuillier, Reem Acra, and Marchesa are showcasing their Fall-Winter 2016 bridal collections this year which naturally makes all heads turns. From what we have seen till now, we have picked our lot. Take a look.

Angel Sanchez

Known for his clean lines, this season Sanchez gave a twist to his usual style. He created an illusionary look by adding 3D flowers to peekaboo fabric. Of course he didn’t do away with his trademark sculptural silhouettes, but this season’s collection gave an impression of being both romantic and avant-garde.

Inbal Dror

The Israeli designer has surely upped the ante of how bridal collections should look ever since she debuted at the Bridal Fashion Week. For this season’s collection, she created illusions by making ample use of beaded tulle, ribbon-tied sleeves, Chantilly lace, flame-like metallic organza and yes, a slight hint of skin.

Marchesa

Marchesa brought to the runway a classic bridal collection that can easily stand out among the crowd. The timeless pieces had sparkly embroidery all over which made them glamorous but never glitzy.

Amsale

We saw minimal embellishment yet maximum style in Amsale’s eponymous collection at the Bridal Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2016. The designer used corded lace that added a new layer of freshness to the bridal collection. We also saw backless detailing, lots of shimmer and stunning beads on the gowns.

Reem Acra

What will you call a bridal collection that sparkle from head to toe, has crystals and embroidery all over, and then you find the models wearing bedazzled headphones? You call it the Reem Acra collection. The collection has hints of illusion with sexy edges, making us look forward to the designer’s next year’s collection.
