Exports in the UK via Heathrow up by 18%

The latest statistics have revealed that the value of the jewelry which is exported through Heathrow airport has grown by 18% since past 2 years.

The data released by the customs department of the UK and analyzed by Seabury the management consultants have found that jewelry is the 3rd most valuable thing to be exported through Heathrow.
The precious metals which have been found to be contributing the most to the exports of UK at £26bn, which is much ahead of the 2nd place aircraft turbojets that stood at £3.5bn only.
In all, £48bn worth of the British commodities, which were exported via Heathrow between Aug 2014 and July 2015? An increase of 9.7% in the past 12 months and represented approximately 26% of the total exports of UK.
Meanwhile, more than £7bn worth British exports were exported to China through the London based airport during this period representing an increase of 117% in the past 12 months and more than 15% increase in the total exports through the airport.
USA still topped the exports destinations list with a value of £14bn of goods exported.
