Perth mints reveal its first pink diamond coin to the world

Perth mints come up with its first pink diamond coin as a legal tender coin spotlighting the pink diamond mined from the Argyle diamond mine. Inspired by the scenery of Kimberley, a region of Western Australia, the coin is made up of 22-carat 91.67% pink gold. It is too acknowledged as the Sunset coin of Kimberley.

First ever legal tender coin launched by the Perth Mint featuring the pink diamond of an Argyle diamond mine. As per the sources and Perth Mint officials, the con is motivated by the charismatic landscape of the Kimberley region situated in the Western Australia. Also regarded as the Kimberley Sunset coin is struck from 22-carat 91.67 pink gold and two ounces of pure gold with 0.035-0.04 carat pink diamond of Argyle mine. The coin shows the engraving of Queen Elizabeth II on its front side and a boab tree along with an Argyle pink diamond like a setting sun on its reverse side. The Mint officials stated that the inscription of the boab tree gleam by the aura of the setting sun made up of the pink diamond of Argyle represents the Kimberley’s landscape and its beauty. The unique representation of the region, boab tree grows to the age of 1500 years. Another reason to chose these ancient boab trees were that in the East Kimberley region and beneath these trees the world’s rarest diamonds were originated more than a billion years ago. Each coin that is available in $500 packs in a black designer case along with a numbered  COA (Certificate of Authenticity).
